We unify your characters, world, and prose into a single workspace, so every chapter you write is stronger and more intentional than the last.

  • Memory that compounds. The more you write, the better it knows your characters, world, and voice.

  • Structure that scales. One workspace for every outline, draft, chapter, and series.

  • Craft-aware AI. It tracks arcs, pacing, and continuity — not just the last paragraph.

Fable is a writing studio designed to help you finish your book.

Fable is in private beta. Here's what early writers say.

Dana Whitlock

Got my @fable beta invite two weeks ago. It's early — a couple of rough edges — but it's already tracking the subplot I forgot I planted in chapter three. It has caught continuity slips before me twice now. I'm not going back to my spreadsheet.

Beta feedback — it saved my deadline

To: Fable Crew

You asked us beta folks to write in when something clicked, so: last week I had a chapter due Friday. At 7:30 am Fable flagged that my timeline broke two chapters back — I'd never have caught it. Fixed the thread, redrafted, sent it a day early. (Also, the export bug I reported is gone in this build. Thank you!)

Better than my beta readers

Beta tester since Feb 2026 · M. Okafor

Three weeks into the beta and it has caught plot holes faster than any beta reader I've had. It's clearly built with care — the story bible filled itself in from my manuscript and only got two character details wrong, which I could just correct in place.

My whole writing group applied for the @fable beta after I demoed it at our Tuesday session. Three of us are in so far. Drafted on the train this morning, revised at the gate, and the manuscript never lost a thread. Waiting on invites for the rest of the group…

For something still in beta, @fable is one of the most well thought out and well executed apps I've used. Rough edges exist, but the bones are excellent.

Almost there — and I'm hooked

Beta cohort 2 · Apr 2026 · a.czarnik

Honest beta review: the drafting and story memory just work, and I now write in Fable daily. One star held back because export formats are still limited (the team says EPUB is coming) and search choked once on my 140k-word draft. Fixed in the next build, apparently.

Essential for series writers

Beta tester since Jan 2026 · Doc Ricardo

I'm a ten-book author and joined the beta skeptical. I loaded books one through three into story memory and it started flagging continuity issues my own notes had missed for years. Forewarned is forearmed — it catches problems before they become rewrites.

Hendrik Haandrikman

@HHaandr

Got into the @fable beta in an ongoing effort to finally finish my novel. The very first chapter I drafted with it surfaced a plot hole 30 minutes (!) before I sent pages to my writing group. I'd have been on a long road of rewrites without it.
